Up by gondola, down by bike – cycling can be that easy. For the tour from First to Grindelwald you get the full programme: panorama view, flowers and a variety of terrains (asphalt, natural road and singletrails). A passable basic condition is enough to cope with the two short ascents. The rest is taken on by the railway staff – the bike is loaded on the gondola – and gravity. It works: good brakes are indispensable on the long descent, because in a maximum of one and a half hours you will have approximately 1100 metres in altitude behind you.
No e-mountainbikes are transported
