The finale of SnowpenAir promises an attractive line-up, with a mixture of international artists, top Swiss bands and the current most successful female singer in Germany. Sunrise Avenue, Patent Ochsner and Helene Fischer are the well-known names at the highest open-air concert in the snow at 2,000 metres above sea level. The organisers expect that both concert days, 4/5 April 2020, will be completely sold out within a short time.
Although the founder of the event and Jungfrau Railways CEO is looking forward to the 23rd SnowpenAir, he appears wistful at today's press conference in Berne: “The fact that we have to give up SnowpenAir hits me quite personally.” We must comply with the demand of a protesting family and have to “sacrifice” SnowpenAir in order to realise the V-Cableway generation project, he explained.
Dialect music, rock and pop hits
As well as the top international band, Sunrise Avenue, with lead singer Samu, the popular Bernese dialect rock band, Patent Ochsner, will spoil the crowd with the most amazing music. The powerful singer, Stefanie Heinzmann from Valais will warm up the crowd in advance. The opening act at the last SnowpenAir is the Crazy Mofos – a local band, according to tradition.
Sunday, 5 April 2020, will focus on the hits. The popular Swiss artist Francine Jordi will greet the audience at the summit after the local favourites, Bermudas, and play the best of her hit songs. The finale will be crowned by the current most successful German singer, Helene Fischer. Music and fireworks with creative dance performances are guaranteed at 2,000 metres above sea level.
Again this year, there is an after-party on both days after the concerts. DJ Marlo from Panama will ensure a party atmosphere in the arena.
Advance booking for the last
