It is a well-known fact that a great day of winter sports begins with a simple, comfortable journey. The journey on the Bernese Oberland Railway (BOB) from Interlaken Ost is now included in all ski passes. Thanks to the new parking guidance system, anyone still taking their car can already see in Wilderswil whether parking spaces in Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen and Stechelberg are already taken. The BOB and the free parking spaces in Wilderswil are also actively pointed out. In a second step, the additional driving time from the motorway exit to the destination will be displayed in the event of a traffic jam.
Evening tobogganing and après-ski
In the winter sports area around the Kleine Scheidegg, things both new and familiar await guests. The already comprehensive range of tobogganing offers will be supplemented this winter season with evening tobogganing from Allmend to Wengen. An additional train to Allmend, Wengen departs at 18.16 h on Fridays and Saturdays between 23 December 2022 and 8 April 2023. For the well-known Eiger Run on the Grindelwald side, the additional trains to Alpiglen, Grindelwald Grund depart at 18:53 h and now at 19.26 h as well.
Those who prefer to stay a little longer on the Kleine Scheidegg can now do so from Saturday, 24 December 2022, in the après-ski “Hütte” at the Kleine Scheidegg mountain restaurant. It will be open daily from Christmas Eve until the last slope inspection. The big opening will be celebrated from 14.00 to 15.00 h, including a free drink.
erminal Square and the e-tron energy bar are transformed into the place to be on Saturdays and some of the public holidays around Christmas and New Year’s Eve. More information and exact dates: After slopes sounds | jungfrau.ch
